The YMCA is seeking a visionary leader to oversee its Immigrant Services, ensuring the growth and sustainability of settlement programs. You will guide a diverse team, develop funding strategies, and foster partnerships, impacting the lives of newcomers across Nova Scotia. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership in strategic direction and operational planning
• Mentor and support a diverse team within a positive workplace culture
• Collaborate with senior leadership across various YMCA programs
• Oversee program design, implementation, and continuous improvement
• Build strategic relationships with community organizations and funders
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma, graduate education preferred
• 5–7 years of leadership experience in nonprofit or settlement sectors
• Strong understanding of immigration trends and community needs
• Expertise in equity, diversity, and inclusion principles
• Proven experience in financial oversight and stakeholder relations
