Position: Director of Academy Tides FC
Shape the future of girls’ soccer in Atlantic Canada as the Academy Director at Halifax Tides FC. This full-time role involves operationalizing a premier player development framework.

The Halifax Tides FC is seeking an experienced Academy Director to oversee the establishment and leadership of a comprehensive girls’ academy. This role demands expertise in technical programming and staff management while fostering a player development pathway geared towards the First Team. The Academy Director will also engage with stakeholders and deliver initial coaching sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operationalize Halifax Tides Player Development Strategy

• Lead the professional academy program from inception

• Design clear player pathways and development models

• Ensure high welfare standards and player development

• Recruit and manage academy staff effectively

Requirements:

• Canada Soccer ‘A’ License or enrollment

• 10 years in player development

• 3+ years in sports leadership roles

• Expertise in Canadian soccer development

• Flexibility for evening and weekend duties
