As the Academy Director at Halifax Tides FC, you will play a vital role in building and managing a player-focused environment tailored for girls’ soccer development. This position involves establishing structures, overseeing technical programming, and engaging with community stakeholders. You will also coach during the academy’s initial phases and manage all operational aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead operationalization of player development strategy
• Build a respected girls’ academy in Atlantic Canada
• Ensure alignment with national player pathways
• Engage parents and community for support
• Recruit and evaluate coaching staff effectively
Requirements:
• Canada Soccer ‘A’ License (or active enrollment)
• 10+ years in player development roles
• 3+ years in sports leadership
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian soccer
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
