Recreation Manager

Position: Full-Time Recreation Manager in Kawartha Lakes
Shape community wellness and engagement as the Recreation Manager in Lindsay, ON. This full-time permanent role requires strategic leadership in municipal recreation, aquatics, and stakeholder relationships.

As the Recreation and Community Engagement Manager for the City of Kawartha Lakes, you'll oversee the development and evaluation of recreational programs tailored to the community's needs. Your focus will be on operational leadership, strategic partnerships, and ensuring that services comply with municipal priorities and standards. Foster a collaborative environment while managing resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement innovative recreation programs

• Lead customer engagement and facility booking processes

• Build and maintain strong community partnerships

• Gather and assess feedback to drive improvements

• Manage departmental budgets and funding initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in Public Administration or similar field

• Seven years of relevant leadership experience

• Strong background in aquatics and community engagement

• Familiarity with relevant municipal legislation

• Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence required
