Valard Construction is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager with a solid commitment to field project delivery and environmental management. This role involves guiding a multidisciplinary team to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, managing risks, and engaging with various stakeholders including Indigenous groups and regulatory agencies. Your leadership will be key in maintaining project schedules and environmental standards across multiple project sites in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review environmental requirements and provide actionable recommendations
• Lead a diverse team ensuring EMS compliance
• Develop accurate environmental deliverables as per regulations
• Integrate environmental requirements into operational practices
• Manage relationships with government and Indigenous groups
Requirements:
• Degree in Biology or related field
• 6 years of leadership experience in industrial settings
• Knowledge of federal and provincial environmental regulations
• Experience with wildlife mitigation plans
• Valid driver's licence with satisfactory driving record
