In this role, you will lead critical initiatives as part of Sobeys' Climate Action team, focusing on fulfilling the company's commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. With your expertise, you'll develop and implement strategic projects that enhance energy efficiency and support financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from conception to execution and closeout

• Establish project priorities aligned with sustainability targets

• Coordinate procurement and evaluate supplier proposals

• Identify innovative carbon-abatement technologies

• Engage stakeholders across various departments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Science

• Over 8 years in project management roles

• Proven experience in energy and sustainability initiatives

• Familiarity with energy efficiency frameworks

• Strong communication and leadership abilities
