Framing Manager

Job Overview

Store – Kingston, ON. Lead and coach a team of framers focused on building customer relationships and delivering custom framing solutions. Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating a memorable framing experience for their art.

• Assist the Store Manager in enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs; ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Develop and coach the sales team’s behaviors to deliver high‑quality custom framing solutions on time.
• Plan and manage workload in partnership with the Store Manager to meet delivery schedules.
• Achieve KPI targets and oversee framing team performance.
• Review sales and production workload, build plans, and allocate sales‑floor time for networking opportunities.
• Execute inventory management, shrink, and safety programs as assigned.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD); partner with MODs daily on framing expectations.
• Conduct interviewing, onboarding, coaching, observation, and training of new team members.
• Participate in performance management activities and talent development.
• Support truck unload, stocking, and ensure truck standards are followed within budget.
• Follow SOPs and company programs to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist customers by acknowledging them, locating products, and providing solutions.
• Participate in omni‑channel processes and other duties as assigned.

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Ability to move throughout the store, remain standing for long periods, lift heavy boxes and frames, and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Total Base Pay Range: $18.60 – $22.90.
