Lyft is looking for an Engineering Manager to oversee the Rider vertical team, where your leadership will impact the development of critical rideshare technologies. You will ensure project alignment, manage dependencies, and cultivate operational excellence while providing guidance to your team. Your responsibilities will span across collaborating with product and data teams to drive key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead team projects from conception to delivery

• Ensure strategic alignment with cross-functional teams

• Manage operational best practices for reliability

• Develop team processes to enhance team culture

• Serve as a key interviewer and participant in the Lyft community

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years in software engineering with leadership

• 3+ years of people management experience

• Experience launching consumer-facing solutions

• Strong communicator adept with technical trade-offs
