Join Nigig Nibi Ki-win Gamik Society as Director of Circle and Tribunal Administration. This full-time position emphasizes policy development and community engagement in a hybrid model.
In your role, you’ll drive the planning and administration of circles and tribunals, working closely with various service area staff. The Director ensures the successful implementation of protocols that align with Algonquin child and family values. You will lead training efforts for facilitators and maintain ongoing communication with involved families, upholding their rights and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop administrative policies for efficient operations
• Ensure training for facilitators and stakeholders
• Supervise Circle and Tribunal staff directly
• Engage in community outreach regarding decision-making
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
Requirements:
• 1-2 years' experience in alternative dispute mechanisms
• 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity
• Strong understanding of Indigenous principles
• Valid driver’s license and clear background check
