The NSBS Gender Equity Committee is open for new members who are invested in promoting gender equity issues. Committee members will play a crucial role in advising the Council and monitoring the governance practices that influence equity. Applications from equity-deserving communities are strongly encouraged, with an option for remote meeting attendance available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for gender equity practices in governance
• Help monitor the Society's efforts in equity issues
• Collaborate with diverse committee members
• Attend virtual meetings as needed
• Submit a skills matrix for application review
Requirements:
• Dedication to advancing gender equity
• Experience in discussions around gender and equity
• Willingness to work collaboratively with others
• Availability for potential remote participation
