In this contract position running until February 2027, you will engage with Temporary Foreign Workers across 3–5 communities. Responsibilities include enhancing awareness of their rights through information products and organizing cultural events. Leverage partnerships with various organizations to improve the support network for migrant workers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consult with stakeholders to meet MAPP project deliverables
• Facilitate regular meetings to enhance collaboration
• Outreach to regional Service Provider organizations
• Liaise with community partners to connect migrant workers
• Maintain project documentation, plans, and reports
Requirements:
• Proficiency in Spanish is essential
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Experience in community development or non-profit management
• Knowledge of diversity issues
• Valid Nova Scotia driver's license and reliable vehicle
Strengthen community ties and empower migrant workers through strategic engagement and collaboration in Halifax.
