About the Role   We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and collaborative professional to join our team. This position will lead national initiativesdesigned to strengthen the settlement sector's capacity to effectively respondto gender-based violence (GBV) experienced by newcomers and support the ongoing work of the National GBV Strategy for Agencies Serving Immigrants.
Working closely with settlement organizations, anti-violence partners,and sector stakeholders across Canada, this position will support the expansionof a national GBV Champion Network, facilitate sector-wide learning opportunities including our Champion Network, Webinars and oversee the delivery and sustainability of the Bridges to Safety:
Building the Capacity of the Settlement Sector to Respond to Gender-Based Violence online training program. Outside of supporting current activities will also be leading updates around the current model and courseand finding more sustainable avenues for this work to continue its impact.
The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening coordinated,effective, and equitable settlement supports for newcomers, includingequity-deserving groups and Francophone minority communities.
In this role, you will:
Lead communication with partners, consultants, participants and stakeholders.
Develop andshare practical tools, resources, communications materials, and learningsupports with network members.
Design allpresentation materials involved for the project including resources, slide decks for virtual and in person presentations, and professional communications.
Lead and expandthe National GBV Staff Champion Network including designing, outreachingand co-facilitating regular virtual meetings.
Implement atrain-the-trainer model that enables GBV Champions to independentlydeliver education and awareness activities within their organizations and communities.
Facilitate anddesign peer-led knowledge exchange opportunities that promote collaboration and the sharing of best practices across the sector throughvirtual webinars and training sessions.
Build and strengthen relationships with anti-violence organizations, settlementagencies, and other key stakeholders.
Support theoutreach, delivery and ongoing maintenance of the nationally accessible Bridgesto Safety online training program in both French and English.
Lead the sustainability of the Bridges to Safety Coursewith updates, editing and transitions to a fully self-directed andself-paced learning platform, including registration and course completionprocesses.
Maintain detailed records, databases, evaluations, and project documentations and resources for reporting purposes.

Education and Skills Qualifications     Bilingualismwritten and verbal (English and French) is considered a strong asset asthis is a bilingual project.
Demonstrated knowledge of gender-based violence, trauma- and violence-informedapproaches, and survivor-centered practices.
Experience working in the settlement sector and/or the gender-based violence sectoris considered a strong asset.
Strong understanding of newcomer settlement and integration services in Canada.
Experience developing and facilitating virtual training, workshops, or educational programming.

Experience with public relations, communication and project profiling, and knowledge mobilization.
Experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders and partners.
