Join the Restorative Initiatives Unit to lead efforts that improve public awareness and access to the Nova Scotia Restorative Justice Program. You will work alongside justice partners and community organizations to build strong relationships while identifying and addressing challenges faced by historically excluded communities. Your innovative approach will be key in promoting justice transformation and equitable practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive strategies for community outreach and public engagement
• Collaborate with justice partners for improved referral systems
• Assess barriers to equitable access for marginalized populations
• Facilitate partnerships among community and justice entities
• Create educational resources on restorative justice principles
Requirements:
• University degree in social sciences or humanities
• Extensive experience in community engagement and justice initiatives
• Strong comprehension of systemic marginalization issues
• Excellent collaboration and communication capabilities
• Proven application of restorative justice principles in practice
