360.Agency is looking for a Director of Sales – Ontario / Maritimes.
OverviewIn this business development–focused role, you will lead the region in the sale of our digital marketing and advertising software solutions. You will represent 360.Agency to automotive dealerships across your territory, building and leading a high‑performing team of Territory Managers (software sales) and Media Directors (digital advertising sales). You will play a central role in developing and executing regional sales strategies, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring business growth and client satisfaction.
Reporting to the National Vice President of Sales and Business Development, you will collaborate closely with fellow Sales Directors across the country and other internal departments to consistently achieve – and exceed – your sales objectives.
Responsibilities- Represent 360.Agency within the region and act as brand ambassador within the automotive industry for the firm.
- Work with the National VP of Sales & Business Development and other Regional Directors of Sales to develop 360.Agency’s sales and business development culture.
- Manage a team of Territory Managers (software sales) and Media Directors (digital advertising sales) in support of the attainment of sales and retention objectives for your region.
- Work with colleagues to ensure that your team is fully staffed, onboarded, trained, and equipped to demonstrate and sell our entire suite of products and effectively handle client objections.
- Support and coach your team in meetings with clients, demos, closings, and contract renewals, and plan for the attainment and surpassing of monthly sales targets.
- Gather information on competitors’ prices, products, and developments.
- Assist in closing sales contracts with new customers and upsell new products and services to existing customers.
- Ensure that territory managers complete and pass their sales certification for the various product families.
- Ensure and validate that territory managers and Media Directors use Salesforce to complete their check‑ins, including relevant notes, to manage sales opportunities and opportunity statuses, and to complete their sales forecasts.
- Complete the forecast according to the frequency required by the Vice President of Sales, using the provided tool (Salesforce/Google Sheet).
- 5 years minimum experience in B2B sales management with 10 years minimum experience in a quota‑carrying B2B sales/territory management role.
- Demonstrated experience in business building, ability and stature to develop business practices and establish the sales function within a large territory.
- Demonstrated/measured ability to drive performance in a team with consistent attainment and surpassing of sales objectives (quota).
- Demonstrated ability and ease in preparing and delivering product presentations.
- Automotive industry experience not a prerequisite but an important asset.
- Competence in closing sales and comfort with solicitation calls.
- Staff management experience.
- Competence in negotiation.
- Unrelenting motivation to achieve and surpass goals.
