Used Car Sales Manager

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Used Car Sales Manager to lead our long established business in New Glasgow, NS.

This role oversees all aspects of pre-owned vehicle sales, including managing inventory, setting pricing strategies, and ensuring an efficient sales process from initial contact to closing.

Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and qualifying customers, conducting vehicle presentations and test drives, preparing sales documentation, and coordinating with finance or administrative staff as needed. The role also involves tracking sales metrics, implementing promotional activities, and maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance with company policies.

Job Functions
This role oversees all aspects of pre-owned vehicle sales, including used vehicle acquisition, managing inventory, setting pricing strategies, and ensuring an efficient sales process from initial contact to closing.

Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and qualifying customers, conducting vehicle presentations and test drives, preparing sales documentation, structuring profitable deals and collaborating with the finance, parts, body shop and customer service departments to maximize gross profit.

Maintain high customer satisfaction scores by resolving issues quickly and professionally.

Requirements
Minimum of 3–5 years of automotive sales management experience. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding used car volume and gross profit goals.

Strong knowledge of local used car market trends, valuation tools, comfort with computer applications and dealership or CRM software.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
