Position: Stantec Environmental Scientist Role
Location: Halifax Regional Municipality

Join Stantec in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, as an Environmental Scientist dedicated to Site Investigation and Remediation efforts. Your work will contribute to effective environmental solutions across Atlantic Canada.

In this temporary full-time role, you play a vital part in Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments and remediation programs. Responsibilities include field data collection, hazardous material assessments, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance and reliable reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document field data collection and project activities

• Assist in developing technical reports and project documentation

• Conduct hazardous building materials assessments

• Oversee subcontractors during sampling projects

• Perform desktop research for project-related data

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related environmental field

• Proficiency in MS Office and technical writing

• Experience with GIS tools is a plus

• Willingness to travel as required

• Valid driver's license with a clean record
