Project Geologist in Ontario

Equinox Gold is seeking a Project Geologist to enhance exploration programs in Ontario. Collaborate with experts to ensure successful drilling and data management.

Reporting to the Exploration Superintendent, you will coordinate daily drilling and field activities at Equinox Gold’s Ontario assets. This role emphasizes data collection, supervising field teams, and adhering to safety regulations. Preference is given to candidates from Northwestern Ontario or nearby regions, working on a rotational schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate drilling and field activities

• Log drill core for accurate geological data

• Maintain sample tracking and QA/QC protocols

• Assist in developing geological models and target generation

• Monitor drilling performance and productivity

Requirements:

• 3+ years in exploration or mine geology

• Familiarity with orogenic gold systems

• Proficient in geological software like Leapfrog

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Valid driver's license with fieldwork capabilities
