Senior Environmental Assessment Consultant

Dillon’s Natural Resources Management discipline seeks an Environmental Practitioner for its multidisciplinary Halifax office. This senior-level opportunity requires at least eight years of professional experience, environmental assessment expertise, regulatory permitting knowledge, and strong report writing. You will support development proposals across natural resource, municipal, land development, and infrastructure projects.

• Lead environmental planning studies and environmental program execution
• Develop impact assessments, offsetting plans, and permitting assignments
• Coordinate field programs, project teams, and technical staff
• Prepare proposals, budgets, and technical reports
• Build relationships with clients, agencies, and communities

• Relevant environmental, physical science, or engineering degree
• At least eight years of professional environmental experience
• Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental legislation
• Experience preparing regulatory permitting applications and submissions
• Strong communication, report writing, and project management skills
