Service Technician

Join our team as a Service Technician, where you will play a vital role in installing door frames, doors, and hardware. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing bathroom partitions in unoccupied areas and assembling lockers when necessary. As a key contributor to the development of our overhead door division, you will be self-motivated and capable of leading and training a helper.

• Install door frames, doors, and hardware.
• Install bathroom partitions and assemble lockers as needed.
• Lead and train a helper in the overhead door division.
• Ensure all installations meet company standards and safety regulations.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience installing overhead doors.
• Proficiency in carpentry and door installation.
• Experience with drilling and the use of power tools.
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders and scissor lifts.
• Valid driver's license.

• Leadership experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to undergo a background check if required.
• AWP and Fall Protection training are advantageous.

Work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime available after 48 hours in NS. Most sites are located within the HRM area, with some travel required around the Maritimes. Expenses for meals are covered when traveling, and you may be required to visit multiple sites in a single day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Halifax, NS.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
