About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance & Operations Assistant Manager, the Carpenter is responsible for completing repairs/alterations to building structures; for example, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, millwork, abatement, flooring, wall cladding/paneling, Gyproc, etc., while adhering to building, fire, infection prevention and control codes and regulations. The incumbent is also responsible for small in‑house renovations and additions, including infection prevention and control hoarding, as required.
This work must be done in accordance with all provincial, building, fire, and infection prevention and control codes and regulations; all pertinent hospital policies and procedures must also be adhered to. The Carpenter may perform other duties as required. Travel within the zone or other zones as needed.

A broad exposure to the construction industry in a similar organization
Travel between sites may be required, access to reliable transportation required

Hours
Permanent, Full‑time position; 75 hours bi‑weekly
Compensation and Benefits
$31.55 - $37.31 Hourly
