McArthur River, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.
Position And Responsibilities- Operation of heavy equipment in underground development and production areas, including manual and remote mucking.
- Assist in the installation and removal of reamers, moving raise bore drills and construction equipment required for back filling of raises and stopes.
- Daily operator care rounds.
Requirements of the position:
- minimum grade 12 education or equivalent;
- three to five years of heavy equipment operation and knowledge;
- successful completion of underground training modules;
- good reading, writing and communication skills are essential;
- ability to work in an underground environment;
- excellent safety and attendance record;
- rotating day shift/night shift schedule
- Underground equipment operating experience.
- Pre‑employment substance test.

Rate per hour: $61.17
