Position: Marine Millwright for Shipbuilding
Become a crucial part of Matrix HR's marine project in Halifax, NS as a Millwright. This full-time role provides $46/hour plus bonuses, offering stability and a Monday to Friday work schedule.

Matrix HR is seeking experienced Millwrights for a long-term project focusing on shipbuilding and vessel maintenance. Candidates must hold a journeyperson ticket and safety certifications while having the ability to commute daily to the site. Experience in marine mechanical systems is a plus, along with strong skills in blueprint reading.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform shipbuilding and maintenance tasks efficiently

• Read blueprints to assist in construction and repairs

• Ensure safety compliance and efficient work processes

• Collaborate with team members on various projects

• Attend scheduled safety training sessions

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Millwright certification is essential

• Safety certifications like WHMIS and HSE orientation

• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights

• Must pass government background and credit checks

• Daily commute to Halifax, NS is required
