Building Operations Specialist

Position: Building Operations Specialist at Southwest Properties
Elevate your mechanical skills as a Building Operator with Southwest Properties. Handle daily operations of a mixed-use residential complex while ensuring exceptional maintenance and safety standards.

In this full-time role from Monday to Friday, you will manage vital building systems and maintenance activities. Reporting directly to the Property Manager, you will be pivotal in maintaining HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building management controls.

Your role also includes responding to emergencies and collaborating with contractors for complex repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventative maintenance across the building

• Maintain HVAC equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems

• Respond to safety alarms and troubleshoot issues

• Document work orders accurately in the maintenance database

• Train staff on fire panel and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Criminal Records Check and relevant safety certifications

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

• Reliable transportation for on-call duties
