Matrix HR is searching for certified Millwrights or Apprentices for a long-term marine project. This position operates Monday to Friday in a unionized, safety-first environment, providing comprehensive benefits and the possibility of overtime. Ideal candidates should have marine experience and demonstrate a commitment to safety in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and fit marine engines and equipment
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations throughout tasks
• Collaborate with the team to maintain operational efficiency
• Support quality assurance processes during installation
• Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Millwright Ticket or registered Apprenticeship
• Valid safety tickets for Fall Protection, Confined Space, and WHMIS
• Ability to commute to Halifax site daily
• Strong commitment to safety practices
• Capability to work in confined spaces and at heights
