Join Rising Edge Technologies as a Journeyman Electrician focused on complex industrial projects. This role encompasses comprehensive electrical work, from installation to compliance checks.
In this senior role, you will report to the Site Supervisor and ensure that all electrical systems are operational and safe. You will lead and mentor apprentices while handling maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting across facilities. Your extensive knowledge of applicable codes and safety practices will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute installations of electrical systems with precision
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment
• Advise on the proper grounding and bonding practices
• Supervise apprentices and promote safety training
• Ensure compliance with Canadian Electrical Code
Requirements:
• Journeyman Electrician Certification required
• At least 5 years in electrical work, 2 in substations
• Knowledge of Electrical Utility Code and safety regulations
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Willingness to work in various conditions and locations
