Position: Electrician Role Shipyard

Matrix HR is looking for Journeyperson Electricians for its long-term maritime project. Candidates need relevant certifications and must be eligible for government security clearance. Those with shipbuilding backgrounds or experience in confined spaces will thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installations and troubleshooting tasks

• Follow safety protocols in confined spaces

• Collaborate effectively with project teams

• Monitor and maintain high safety standards

• Attend ongoing safety training sessions

Requirements:

• Red Seal or Journeyman Electrician certification

• Must work effectively in confined, industrial environments

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and wear PPE

• Must pass a government security clearance

• Experience in a shipyard setting preferred
