Our client, a leading organization in the industrial services sector, is seeking a Red Seal A or B Gas Fitter to join their team. As a Red Seal Gas Fitter, you will be an integral part of the maintenance and technical support team, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in all gas-related installations and repairs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Red Seal A or B Gas Fitter
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Pay Range: Based on Qualifications
Shift: Monday to Friday - rotating on call
What's the Job?
- Install, repair, and maintain gas systems in compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Perform inspections and testing of gas equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to gas systems and appliances
- Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver high-quality service
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
What's Needed?
- Valid Red Seal certification as a Gas Fitter (A or
B) - Strong understanding of gas systems, safety protocols, and relevant codes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements
