HVAC Technician - Installation & Service

Location: Halifax Regional Municipality

Advance your career with BGIS as an HVAC Technician, specializing in the installation and service of heating and cooling systems. This role prioritizes maintaining HVAC efficiency and client relations while adhering to safety standards.

BGIS is looking for a qualified HVAC Technician with a valid HVAC Red Seal certification. Your main responsibilities will include installing, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance on HVAC systems. You'll ensure that all operations comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring safe and effective facility management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install heating and cooling equipment as required

• Troubleshoot HVAC units and perform necessary repairs

• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance strategies

• Maintain detailed records of tools and repairs

• Provide recommendations for facility improvements based on observations

Requirements:

• Must have valid HVAC Certificate of Qualification

• Experience in HVAC and refrigeration services

• Strong focus on health and safety practices

• Excellent communication skills for client engagement

• Willingness to work on-call as required
