Technical Specification Writer

This hybrid position with Thales places you within the AJISS Coastal Support team responsible for producing essential work instructions and Statement of Work (SOWs). You will interface frequently with OEMs and ship staff to analyze defects and improve technical documentation. This role supports both Service Delivery and Engineering teams, contributing to vital maintenance activities for marine electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop work instructions and SOWs for maintenance

• Liaise with stakeholders to assess defects

• Conduct onboard investigations or TDP assessments

• Suggest improvements to technical documentation

• Facilitate corrective maintenance planning and execution

Requirements:

• 2-year electrical diploma or military certification

• 3 years of marine/offshore technical experience

• Proficiency in marine electrical systems

• Excellent communication skills

• Fluent in English
