Halifax Water is seeking one full-time Labourer/Utility Worker Apprentice for an 18-month term. Ideal candidates will have Grade 12 or equivalent education and satisfactory experience in water system maintenance and operation. You will work under the supervision of the Works Supervisor and engage in various tasks vital to the Utility's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor tasks related to utility operations

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Ensure safety and efficiency in all operations

• Operate and maintain water system equipment

• Assist with any additional utility-related duties

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent

• Relevant experience in water system operations

• Strong commitment to safety practices

• Ability to work in diverse weather conditions
