Security Systems Installer

Join CSD Security Systems as a full-time Security Systems Installer in the Greater Halifax Metropolitan Area. This role focuses on the installation and troubleshooting of advanced security solutions for residences and businesses.

As a key member of CSD, your expertise in installing cameras, alarms, and access control devices will support local communities. Daily responsibilities include running low-voltage wiring, mounting equipment, and ensuring installations meet safety standards. Collaborating with team members and guiding customers on system usage are essential parts of this hands-on position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure residential and commercial security systems

• Run and terminate low-voltage and data wiring

• Troubleshoot technical issues with security equipment

• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams

• Document work performed and provide customer guidance

Requirements:

• Skills in security system installation and configuration

• Experience with low-voltage wiring and troubleshooting

• Strong customer service and communication abilities

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Physical ability to lift equipment and work on ladders
