Per-Unit / Project-Based | Bi-Weekly Payments Position Overview We are seeking experienced Vinyl Flooring Installers to support a steady pipeline of apartment turnover projects in Halifax.
This role focuses on efficient, high-quality installation of glue-down and click (floating) vinyl flooring systems within tight turnaround timelines.
Key Responsibilities Installation of vinyl flooring (glue-down and click systems) in residential units Subfloor preparation including cleaning, leveling, patching, and minor repairs Removal and disposal of existing flooring where required Accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting of flooring materials Ensuring finished product meets quality and durability standards Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Required Qualifications Proven experience installing vinyl flooring (glue-down and click) Strong attention to detail and finish quality Ability to meet tight project timelines and turnover schedules Own tools, equipment, and reliable transportation Valid business registration Insurance & Compliance Requirements (Mandatory) Commercial General Liability Insurance with a minimum of $2,000,000 coverage Active registration and good standing with the Nova Scotia Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) Compliance with Nova Scotia Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations WHMIS certification (preferred) What We Offer Consistent volume of apartment turnover work Competitive per-unit or project-based compensation Reliable bi-weekly payment schedule Opportunity for long-term, ongoing partnership Application Process Interested contractors are invited to submit:
