Hi-Rail Excavator Operator at PNR RailWorks

Contribute to track construction and maintenance with PNR Rail Works as a Hi-Rail Excavator Operator. Ensure safety and efficiency while installing track ties across diverse territories.

Reporting to the Track Supervisor and Foreman, you'll operate hi-rail excavators to facilitate track repairs and installations. This role requires mechanical skills for minor repairs and adherence to safety protocols during operations. You will also engage in various track maintenance activities, showcasing your flexibility and commitment to quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hi-rail excavator for track tie installation

• Support repairs of track components with a ground crew

• Conduct regular equipment maintenance and safety checks

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Record material usage and operational issues

Requirements:

• Valid full class G driver's license

• Experience with hand, power, and hydraulic tools

• Understanding of safety requirements and maintenance specs

• Ability to read and interpret operational documents

• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
