S & T Property Maintenance Ltd. is seeking a motivated, hands-on Operations Supervisor to oversee our property maintenance and landscaping operations year-round. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading crews, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring our fleet and equipment remain in excellent working condition.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing daily operations, maintaining high-quality workmanship, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead landscaping, maintenance, and snow removal crews.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily work schedules and project priorities.
  • Operate heavy equipment including:
  • Wheel Loaders
  • Skid Steers
  • Excavators
  • Trucks and trailers
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor mechanical repairs.
  • Coordinate major repairs and maintenance with outside service providers when required.
  • Ensure equipment is clean, fueled, and ready for daily operations.
  • Assist with landscaping projects including grading, sod installation, planting, irrigation, and site maintenance.
  • Oversee winter snow removal operations including sidewalks, parking lots, and commercial properties.
  • Monitor job quality, productivity, and crew performance.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate employees while promoting a positive team environment.
  • Maintain accurate equipment maintenance records and daily job documentation.
  • Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OH&S regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with management, clients, suppliers, and team members.
Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience performing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
