Equipment Operator at M. Davis Landscape

Join M. Davis Landscape & Design Inc. as an Equipment Operator and operate machinery in both residential and commercial landscape projects. This role focuses on using skid steers and other equipment while ensuring safety and quality in Ottawa.

With a minimum of 1-3 years operating skid steers, you will contribute to one of Ottawa’s largest landscape companies. The role involves helping labor crews and maintaining equipment and site cleanliness. You’ll collaborate with foremen to achieve project success while adhering to safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate skid steers and other heavy machinery

• Attend daily safety assessments with the team

• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance

• Assist with general site work as needed

• Maintain safety and equipment standards on job sites

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of equipment operation experience

• Experience in landscape construction projects

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable and punctual approach to work

• Must have dependable transportation
