We are currently seeking candidates for Spare Winter Equipment Operator positions in Spry Bay, Middle Musquodoboit, and Chezzetcook. You will benefit from two weeks of paid training followed by practical experience in snow plowing. Flexibility is vital, as hours are dependent on operational demands, with a potential for guaranteed bi-weekly earnings during the winter season.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain snow-clearing equipment safely
• Perform equipment inspections before and after use
• Keep detailed logs and reports of operations
• Conduct road repairs and manage traffic control
• Provide excellent service while operating equipment
Requirements:
• Two years of related experience or suitable training
• Class III driver's license with air brake endorsement
• Reading and writing skills for documentation
• Mechanical course completion is advantageous
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
