Halifax Water is looking for two full-time OT Technicians I to support its Corporate Services Department. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various control systems and instrumentation. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to operational standards, contributing to the resilience of vital water services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor SCADA systems for critical alerts
• Conduct maintenance on booster pumping and control systems
• Perform daily operations for water booster stations
• Configure and maintain instrumentation systems
• Safeguard against cybersecurity threats in ICS
Requirements:
• Grade 12 plus relevant engineering technology certification
• At least two years of SCADA and PLC experience
• Specialized training in industrial control systems
• Ability to interpret technical electrical documentation
• Willingness to partake in emergency response rotations
