Irving Shipbuilding is looking for Millwrights to join their team in Halifax. This role demands a Red Seal designation along with practical skills in marine repair, shafting alignment, and welding. Successful applicants must complete a pre-employment physical and background check while adhering to Canadian Controlled Goods Program and ITAR regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints for installation projects

• Perform shafting and main engine alignment tasks

• Execute rigging, hoisting, and moving operations

• Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance

• Service mechanical components and systems as needed

Requirements:

• Completion of vocational training or equivalent

• Industrial Mechanic/Millwright Red Seal certification

• Eligibility to work in Canada

• Experience in shipbuilding or marine environments

• Ability to maintain and use necessary tools
