Position: Skilled Carpenter Role

As a Carpenter, you will take direction from the Trade Supervisor, executing a range of carpentry projects. From constructing and installing custom cabinetry to performing general maintenance, your five years of construction experience will enrich our university facilities. Commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute maintenance and renovations related to carpentry

• Install structures like shelves, doors, and ceilings

• Build custom cabinetry and millwork effectively

• Work at heights from various scaffolding setups

• Ensure a clean and safe workspace

Requirements:

• Certified Carpenter qualification from Nova Scotia

• Minimum five years of related journey experience

• Proficiency in reading drawings and blueprints

• Strong communication and organizational abilities

• Willingness to work overtime when necessary
