You will be the senior working technician, guiding daily operations as you perform mechanical duties and ensure compliance with safety standards. This position focuses on mentoring apprentices, advising on repairs, and promoting teamwork within the department while maintaining our modern fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead mechanical duties on trucks and transport equipment
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
• Mentor and support apprentices with technical guidance
• Ensure quality checks and safety compliance
• Assist with inventory management and procedure improvement
Requirements:
• Red Seal Certification for Truck and Transport Mechanics
• Valid driver’s licence, Class 2 or 3 is advantageous
• Significant mechanical experience in the industry
• Strong diagnostic skills and leadership abilities
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
