Mechanical Service Technician Atlantic

Join STERIS as a Mechanical Service Technician, servicing pharmaceutical and medical clients throughout Atlantic Canada. This role allows for independent work while fostering relationships in healthcare environments across Halifax and beyond.

As a full-time Equipment Service Technician, you will travel extensively, providing service, calibration, and troubleshooting of complex equipment. Your strong technical skills will be pivotal in managing tasks autonomously and communicating effectively with customers and support teams to enhance service delivery and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment

• Prioritize service calls based on customer needs

• Work alongside cross-functional teams on compliance issues

• Offer customers detailed repair options and service pricing

• Adjust support based on service agreements in territory

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in a mechanical or technical role

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

• Must live within 80 kilometers of service area

• Ability to handle up to 11 kilograms

• Valid driver's license required
