At Rising Edge Group, you'll report to the Commissioning Manager and be responsible for the commissioning and testing of medium to high-voltage equipment in substations. Your expertise will help educate apprentices, interpret blueprints, and set up specialized test equipment. Become a part of a dynamic team ensuring critical infrastructure safety across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
• Test and commission electrical equipment in various substations
• Interpretation of blueprints and analysis of test results
• Mentor and supervise junior technicians and apprentices
• Operate and maintain specialized test equipment
• Ensure safe working practices on-site
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or related degree
• 1-3 years of commissioning experience
• Familiarity with high-voltage substation equipment
• Strong analytical skills and computer proficiency
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and ability to work long hours
