We have an opening for a temporary Electrician position for one of our ships, which sails between Halifax, NS and St. John's, NL. The Electrician is responsible for accomplishing electrical tasks specific to the ship. He/She follows the instructions given by the Engineer on Watch and assists them as needed. The Electrician reports to the Chief Engineer, with functional reporting to the 2nd Engineer (routine and maintenance).
Qualifications- Trade with Electronics Endorsement
- Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats
- Ship Personnel with Designated Security Duties Proficiency
