Overview
YES USA is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and leadership-oriented Summer Camp Operations Manager to support the planning and execution of our international ESL summer programs.
This is a full-time, office-based role focused on supporting all aspects of summer program management, including logistics, student services, excursions, staffing coordination, and daily camp operations.
The Summer Camp Operations Manager will work closely with on-location management to support the successful operation of YES USA programs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Operations & Logistics
- Assist in coordinating the day-to-day logistics of YES USA summer programs.
- Manage operational databases, records, and student documentation.
- Coordinate bookings and scheduling for transportation, university rooms, meals, and activities.
- Track inventory and organize operational supplies, teaching materials, excursion tickets, and program resources.
- Communicate with partner universities, vendors, and service providers regarding operational needs.
- Support student arrivals, departures, and housing assignments.
- Help maintain accurate student records, including dietary restrictions, medical information, and emergency contacts.
- Assist with onboarding and coordination of seasonal staff and interns.
- Support communication between academic, excursion, and residential teams.
- Assist in organizing off-campus excursions and on-campus activities.
- Coordinate bookings, confirmations, and logistical details for transportation and attractions.
- Help supervise excursion departures and troubleshoot operational issues when necessary.
- Support event planning for orientations, graduations, and social activities.
- Maintain organized records of operational expenses and receipts.
- Assist with invoice tracking, petty cash reconciliation, and expense reporting.
- Support administrative tasks related to program preparation and compliance.
- Work closely with on-site YES USA leadership on program planning and operations.
- Assist with problem-solving and coordination across departments.
- Coordinate with university partners to provide services and facilities for YES USA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership experience in education, camps, hospitality, student services, events, or operations is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Comfortable managing logistics and handling administrative responsibilities with attention to detail.
- Prior experience working with international students or youth programs is a plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
$45, / Year
20 Paid Vacation Days with blackout dates from May-August
