provides tutorial and general program assistance in the development and supervision of program participants in activities associated with the after school program. Work is performed in the areas of tutorial/educational assistance programs, enrichment and character building initiatives, various prevention projects, and special events. Provides direct supervision and guidance to teacher assistants and aides in the delivery of effective instruction. Work is performed under general supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment based on professional education and previous experience.

bachelor's degree in education; supplemented by one or more years' directly related experience and/or training in working with school age children; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Must have florida department of education (fdoe) certification. Must have national incident management system (nims) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment.

Must have a valid florida driver's license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment. In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
