Job Description:

Job Summary:

Onvo is seeking a friendly and efficient Travel Plaza Cashier to process customer transactions, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and provide excellent customer service at our travel plaza location.

Job Responsibilities:

* Accurately and efficiently process cash, credit, and debit card transactions for fuel, convenience store items, and other services.

* Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including scanning items, entering prices, and handling change.

* Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide assistance with product location or services.

* Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area, including stocking shelves, facing products, and wiping down counters.

* Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints or escalate issues to management as needed.

* Assist with stocking and merchandising products on sales floor during slower periods.

* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and safety.

* Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, including balancing the cash register.

Job Qualifications:

* Previous cash handling and customer service experience strongly preferred.

* Ability to operate a POS system and handle various forms of payment accurately.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
