Job Description:

Job Summary

Responsible for accurately processing customer transactions and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

Job Responsibilities

* Operate a cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.

* Scan and bag merchandise efficiently.

* Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering questions and assisting with product location.

* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

* Stock shelves and coolers as needed.

* Process fuel transactions and provide information on fuel types and prices.

* Assist with lottery ticket sales and payout procedures.

* Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally and courteously.

* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and age-restricted sales.

* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Job Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is a plus.

* Ability to accurately handle cash and perform basic math calculations.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

* Strong work ethic and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
