DICK'S Sporting Goods Distribution Center seeks a Maintenance Tech II to keep our high-volume wholesale operation running safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, sorters, dock equipment, building systems, and material-handling gear. You'll troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues, support safety and LOTO procedures, and minimize downtime in a fast-paced environment. Work closely with operations and fellow techs in a team-oriented, growth-focused culture that values reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, sorters, and material-handling equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime
- Inspect, maintain, and repair dock equipment and building/facility systems
- Follow and promote safety standards, including lockout/tagout and OSHA guidelines
- Use CMMS to document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance history
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance team to prioritize repairs and projects
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for reliability and equipment performance
- Assist with installation, modification, and upgrades of equipment and systems
