A well-established and growing organization in the Fort Worth area is seeking an experienced
Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-volume, multi-location accounts payable function. Our client has a strong national footprint, stable leadership, and a fast-paced operational environment.

Position SummaryThe Accounts Payable Manager will oversee end-to-end AP operations across multiple branches, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, vendor payments, approvals, coding, reconciliations, and reporting. This individual will lead a hybrid support model consisting of in-office team members and international accounting support partners, while collaborating closely with operations, procurement, and finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead full-cycle accounts payable operations in a high-volume, multi-location environment
- Manage invoice workflows, approvals, coding accuracy, and payment execution
- Oversee relationships with local and national vendors, ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Supervise, coach, and develop domestic staff and international accounting support partners
- Optimize workflows between U.S. operations and global support resources for efficiency and accuracy
- Manage urgent payment requests, escalations, and time-sensitive vendor needs
- Monitor AP aging, vendor statements, reconciliations, and compliance requirements
- Strengthen internal controls and establish measurable department KPIs
- Drive automation initiatives including OCR, AI-enabled tools, and process enhancements
- Partner with leadership on reporting, forecasting support, and operational improvements
- 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, including leadership in a high-volume environment
- Experience managing teams in a multi-entity or multi-location organization
- Strong vendor management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-through abilities
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with ERP systems, AP automation tools, and process improvement initiatives preferred
