The ideal candidate possesses a strong sales mentality, organizational and interpersonal skills, and a customer-focused approach. This is an in-office position.
Job Responsibilities- Assist customers with various insurance needs: new policies, edits, renewals, reinstatements, payments, and all related questions.
- Inspect vehicles to assess insurance risk, considering condition, age, and characteristics.
- Seek new clients, generate prospect lists, and develop clientele through networking and marketing; collaborate with the office manager on marketing strategies.
- Perform administrative tasks, including policy renewals and communication with underwriting to complete policies.
- Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Customer service or insurance sales experience preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
- Valid Texas Limited Lines or Property & Casualty license highly preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
- Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn proprietary software.
- Complete required continuing education courses (paid by ALPA) to maintain active license status with TDI.
